This novel is outstanding and well-written . It begins in the year 1775. Mr. dray’s bodyguard, Jerry Cruncher, is told to stop the Dover mail-coach with an important message to Mr. Lorry. The message states that Lucie Manette, distaff child of Dr. Manette, is waiting at Dover for Mr. Lorry. At Dover, Mr. Lorry meets and escorts Lucie to genus Paris where her beget is currently residing in the berth of wine-shop owner, Monsieur Defarge. Lucie is finally reunited with her father after eighteen years of beness remand at the Bastille. Manette has spent all his time making dress objet dart returning home from the Bastille.
